Therapeutic Riding: Our CanTRA and PATH International approved programs, rooted in Hinchinbrook’s work, help kids and adults with mental, physical, or developmental challenges improve balance, mobility, and cognitive skills through close connections with horses.
Horse Powered Reading: We offer this unique literacy program, created by Michele Pickel, Ph.D., for kinesthetic learners and autistic students, blending reading with horse activities to boost comprehension and engagement.
Ther-a-Play Playdates: We bring families together for sensory-rich fun, like horse painting, trail rides, campfires, and trampolines, based on Hinchinbrook’s model. We’re now expanding these playdates to new regions.
Community Outreach: We’re connecting with diverse groups, like African Nova Scotians, Mi’kmaq communities, and new Canadians, to share EAS, building on Hinchinbrook’s inclusive spirit.
A list of where we’re active: Patricia McGill's Hinchinbrook Farm in Blockhouse, Halifax Lancers in Halifax, and Free Spirit Therapeutic Riding Association in Annapolis Valley. We’re working to reach more counties soon!
